Use Plainmark responsibly.
These terms describe the basic conditions for using the current free service.
The service
Plainmark provides automated PDF and public-webpage conversion, editable Markdown, and a visual review workspace. The service may change, pause, or stop without notice while the product continues to develop.
Your PDFs and URLs
You must have the right to upload each PDF and to retrieve, process, and reuse content from each URL you submit. Do not use Plainmark to infringe copyright, violate privacy, distribute unlawful material, or process content when you lack permission.
Public webpage access
Web to Markdown is intended for individual public pages. Do not use it to bypass logins, access controls, robots protections, paywalls, or technical restrictions, or to automate excessive crawling of a website.
Conversion accuracy
Conversions may contain missing text, altered structure, incorrect reading order, misplaced images, broken tables, or formatting errors. Review the source and generated Markdown before relying on, publishing, indexing, or distributing the result.
Third-party visual references
Webpage screenshots are provided through a third-party service and may be unavailable, incomplete, delayed, or subject to that provider’s own terms. Plainmark does not guarantee that a visual reference will be generated for every URL.
Prohibited use
Do not attempt to disrupt the service, bypass limits, upload malicious files, submit harmful URLs, automate excessive requests, or use Plainmark in a way that harms other users, websites, or hosting infrastructure.
No warranty
Plainmark is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. No guarantee is made that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, suitable for a specific purpose, or able to recover submitted content.
Limitation of responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you are responsible for reviewing conversion output, respecting source-site terms, and maintaining your own source files and backups. Plainmark is not a document storage or archival service.
