Terms of use
Use Plainmark responsibly.
These terms describe the basic conditions for using the current free service.
The service
Plainmark provides automated PDF-to-Markdown conversion and an editing workspace. The service may change, pause, or stop without notice, particularly while it remains an early-stage product.
Your documents
You must have the right to upload and process each document. Do not use Plainmark to infringe copyright, violate privacy, distribute unlawful material, or process documents when you lack permission.
Conversion accuracy
Conversions may contain missing text, altered structure, misplaced images, or formatting errors. Review the original PDF and generated Markdown before relying on, publishing, or distributing the result.
Prohibited use
Do not attempt to disrupt the service, bypass file limits, upload malicious files, automate excessive requests, or use the service in a way that harms other users or the hosting infrastructure.
No warranty
Plainmark is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. No guarantee is made that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, suitable for a specific purpose, or able to recover uploaded files.
Limitation of responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you are responsible for reviewing conversion output and maintaining your own source files and backups. Plainmark is not a document storage or archival service.
